Lostprophets album reviews

The Betrayed

'The Betrayed' Is the fourth studio album from Welsh rockers Lostprophets featuring the singles 'It's Not the End of the World But I Can See It from Here' and 'Where We Belong'. The band have gone from strength to strength in the album charts with since releasing their debut album 'Thefakesoundofprogress' back in 2000, 2004's 'Start Something' peaked at number 4 and 2006's 'Liberation Transmission' made the top spot. Early reviews of The Betrayed are very positive, Q magazine give it 4 stars and the BBC say "The Betrayed is not an underachieving record. It sweats hunger and ambition, and while it’s not flawless, it’s a success on their own, aggressively populist terms: 11 songs of big riffs and earworm choruses that reach over the moshpit to the stands beyond."
