One Life Stand

'One Life Stand' is the fourth studio album from UK electro band Hot Chip featuring 10 new tracks:

'Thieves in the Night', 'Hand Me Down Your Love', 'I Feel Better', 'One Life Stand', 'Brothers', 'Slush', 'Alley Cats', 'We Have Love', 'Keep Quiet', 'Take It In'.

Hot Chip broke onto the big scene in 2006 when their second studio album 'The Warning' gained critical acclaim and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize later that year and the bands third album 'Made in the Dark' give them their biggest hit to date when peaking at number 4 in the charts back in 2008.

Early reviews of One Life Stand are favorable with Digital Spy giving it 4/5 saying that the album "Could One Life Stand be the record that at last propels the electropop collective to the top of the album charts" and Virgin say "it all contributes to a record of stark beauty that has laid down a marker for British music in 20102.

Made in the Dark is the third studio album by acclaimed electronic indie band Hot Chip and it is the follow up to 'The Warning', which was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2006.
