Corinne released her self-titled debut album in 2006 which was very well received and won a Grammy Award for ‘album of the year’; Corinne herself also won many major awards as did the single Put Your Records On. Early reviews of The Sea are very positive with the BBC’s Paul Lester saying “the music and melodies draw you in, and even when they follow their own lushly orchestrated circuitous path, they seem to dare you to drift away.”
