Pink Beat Oasis to the Summit of UK Charts

And Kings of Leon stay top

Pink has pulled off a major shock by entering the UK charts at number one with her latest single called 'So What'.

The Pennsylvanian singer/songwriter, whose biggest hit to date was 'Get The Party Started' which made number 3 in 2002, outsold American rivals Kings of Leon whose 'Sex on Fore' fell one place from 1 to 2 and Oasis' comeback single 'The Shock Of The Lightning', which is taken from their forthcoming album 'Dig Out Your Soul'.

Kings Of Leon's fourth studio album 'Only By The Night' spends a second week on top of the UK album charts holding off a host of new entries including Will Young's Let It Go at 2, James Morrison's 'Songs For You Truths For Me' at 3 and Andrew Johnston's One Voice at 4.
