More Stone Roses Goodies on the Way

Plus The Cribs, Idlewild

Stone Roses are to re-release five of their singles on 7" vinyl before the big debut album makeover arrives in August.

'Elephant Stone'/'The Hardest Thing In The World' will be released on July 6 and 'Made Of Stone'/'Going Down' one week later (July 13). 'She Bangs The Drums'/ 'Standing Here will' hits the shops on July 20 followed one week later by 'Fools Gold'/ 'What The World Is Waiting For'. Finally 'One Love'/'Something's Burning' will be rereleased on August 3, one week before the various debut album packages.

Don’t Ignore The Cribs

The Cribs have confirmed that their third studio album will be called 'Ignore the Ignorant' and it will hit the shops on September 7. The follow up to Men's Needs Women's Needs Whatever has been produced by Smiths legend Jonny Marr.

Idlewild Name New Album

HMV have a title of 'Post Electric Blues' for the sixth studio album from Scottish indie rockers Idlewild. The band have actually already released early demo versions of the album to fans but an official release has been pencilled in for September 7.
