Kings Of Leon Score UK Chart Double
The Kings of Leon have confirmed their status as one of the
worlds biggest bands by topping the both the UK albums and singles charts this
weekend (Sunday September 27 2008)
The Tennessee band's latest single Sex on Fire is top of the
singles chart for a second week ahead of Katy Perry's I Kissed A
Girl. Their fourth studio 'Only By
The Night' enters the album chart in pole position ahead of new entries from
Pussycat Dolls' with Doll Domination at 4, Bette Midler's
The Best Bette at 6 and McFly's Radio Active
at 8.
Elbow's Mercury Music Prize winning album 'The Seldom Seen Kid' drops one place to
number 9 and David Gilmour's 'Live In
Gdansk' is another new entry at number 10.
