Idlewild Reveal New Album Details
Idlewild have revealed some details of their seventh
as-yet-untitled studio album which may be out early next year. The Scottish
indie band plan a conventional release in April 2009 but they have also came up
with a package were fans will get a CD of a new album with a bonus track, a
digital download of the new album, a 15 track live digital download, and your
name will appear in a CD booklet.
On the pre-order website explain: "We will be in the studio for the first
few months of 2009 and plan a conventional album release in the summer, but for
a limited time, we would like to offer our fans a chance to be involved from the
beginning by pre-ordering directly from us a special edition album along with
plenty of extras"
Radiohead's 'In Rainbows', Block
Party's 'Intimacy' and The Charlatans'
'You Cross My Path' all got similar
released and proved successful for the artists.
