Glastonbury Set For a Scorcher
The forthcoming Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts, which takes place in Somerset next weekend, could be set for a long overdue change of luck with the weather with most of the major long term weather forecasters predicting warm summer weather.
The Azores high is expected to arrive in the UK about Wednesday and Metcheck are confident that dry and sunny conditions will stay with us for the rest of the month. The world famous festival which is held at Worthy Farm in Pilton has suffered from appalling conditions in recent years including the mudfest’s of 97 and 98 and the notorious super storm of 2007.
Old timers Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Blur are to headline the three day event and the tickets are all sold out.
