Duran Duran to Release More of their Back Catalogue
New romantic legends Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet are to re-release some of their old albums as a reminder to the young record buying public that the synth pop phase started well over 30 years ago.
Duran Duran, who re-released their classic Rio album last year, are to re-release their 1981 self-titled debut as A 2CD/DVD with stacks of extras such as original b-sides, live tracks and sessions that were originally recorded for former Radio One DY Peter Powell. The band's third long player 1983's 'Seven and the Ragged Tiger' will also get a special deluxe 2CD/DVD release. Both albums are due out on March 15 2010.
Same day
On the same release day as the Duran Duran albums, Spandau Ballet are to unearth some of their old stuff with their 1981 debut album 'Journeys to Glory' coming out as a 2 CD digi pack as well as their 1982 follow up 'Diamond'.

PAJ
More accurate is to say that the record company is releasing the back catalogue, pretty sure, especially in Durans case, that the band doesn't have much say in it.

Mac
So Duran would have a problem with earning a little extra cash?
