David Bowie to Release Special Space Oddity EP

To celebrate moon landing

David Bowie is to release a special 4 track EP version of his hit 'Space Oddity' to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s moon landing.

July 20 1969 was the day Armstrong landed on the moon and it will be the very same day that Bowie will release the EP which will contain 'Space Oddity' (Original UK Mono Single Edit), 'Space Oddity' (US Mono Single Edit), 'Space Oddity' (US Stereo Single Edit) and 'Space Oddity' (1979 Re-Record). When fans purchase the EP they will also receive the original multi-tracks for the track for free and they will then be able to remix the song through their own software.

Space Oddity was David Bowie's very first UK hit back in September 1969 when peaking at number 5 in the charts and it also give him his first number one single when re-released in October 1975.
