and U2 Stay Top

Jenkins/West/Jones/Gibb, AKA Robin Gibb of The Bee Gees, Sir Tom Jones and Gavin and Stacey stars Ruth Jones and Rob Brydon are top of the UK singles charts with 'Islands In The Stream', a song written by Robin Gibb  and originally a number 7 hit by country stars Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton back in 1983.


The officinal Comic Relief track overtakes last week's number one 'Right Round' by Flo Rida Ft Kesha which falls one place to 2 whilst Saturdays' 'Just Can't Get Enough' is number three.


U2's 'No Line on the Horizon' spends a second consecutive week at number on in the album charts despite widespread predictions that 13 year old singer Faryl would claim the top spot, her self-titled debut effort entered at number 6.  Annie Lennox has the week's highest new entry at 2 with 'The Collection', Kelly Clarkson's 'All I Ever Wanted' is a new entry at 3 and Taylor Swift's 'Fearless' is a new entry at 5.
