Avril Lavigne Goes Acoustic

Plus Madonna, Dizzee Rascal

Avril Lavigne is to release her fourth studio album later this year and the Canadian star has revealed that it will be an acoustic effort telling Billboard that "is a lot different from anything I've done before. It's not a pop-rock record. This is more about emotion and feeling."

The as-yet-untitled follow up to 2007's The Best Damn Thing is due in October.

Celebrate Madonna

Madonna has confirmed that her third greatest hits album will be out on September 28 but it will be called Celebration and not Iconography. Hits such as 'Everybody', 'Express Yourself', 'Vogue' and '4 Minutes' have been confirmed and the package which will released as a double CD and a single CD.

More Dizzee

Dizzee Rascal has revealed that he's fourth studio album will be called Tongue "N" Cheek and it will be released on September 21. The follow up to 2007's Maths + English will feature the massive hit singles 'Dance Wiv Me' and 'Bonkers' as well as forthcoming single 'Holiday'.
